And, looking at those names, only Einstein and Precious Kitten run and run successfully on a regular basis these days. I love Lava Man, but his G1 days may be few and far between now. Ginger Punch has more talented challengers. Who knows about Big Brown's future, and are we going to see Curlin again soon? I know they were talking about the Stephen Foster...

I'm totally pissed about Kip Deville. He won the G1 Maker's Mark on April 11; Dutrow and IEAH aren't planning on running him again until September 1 and the Woodbine Mile!! And he's perfectly healthy and ready to run! But, no, "we've got a plan" and that's one more prep before the BC Mile in October. Ridiculous! http://www.drf.com/news/article/94850.htmlValerie Grashhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02696887655473752690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1354333762076619269.post-2021888339688070122008-05-30T09:52:00.000-04:002008-05-30T09:52:00.000-04:00*shakes head* I just read somewhere the other day ...*shakes head* I just read somewhere the other day about the number of horses currently racing in the United States who have won more than three Grade I Races. You know how many there are? Seven. Se-ven. Let us count them.

Lava Man, Einstein, Precious Kitten, Curlin, Ginger Punch, Kip Deville and Big Brown.

:/ Racing is never going to attract new fans unless there is something to WATCH, for godssakes.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1354333762076619269.post-10476577174139797322008-05-30T07:45:00.000-04:002008-05-30T07:45:00.000-04:00Oy. Didn't he claim terrific karma before the Derby.........

Finally, I don’t have a multi-million dollar deal with Dior China to worry about, so I’ll just say it…Rick Dutrow, karma is a bitch, so if you continue to run your mouth, don’t be surprised when it comes back to bite you in the ass. Just saying…

ffffffuuuuuunnnnnnnyyyyyyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
