When my Aussie is not feeling well, I know. Hopefully, if War Pass was not feeling well, Zito would not have run him. So I kind of dismiss what the owner said about a fever. There are those burying War Pass, and yes, he does not want to be rated!--Only if we are privy to what instructions Zito gave Cornelio will we ever know what they tried to do on Saturday at Tampa. We Humans make mistakes. Try to make animals do something they don't want to do, especially at an early age, and they'll fight you all the way. You have to wait sometimes for them to mature and try again, a little at a time. I would like to think Zito would have had the sense to not try and rate him. Didn't he see what happened to Hard Spun last year when Gopmez tried---they put Pino back on the next time and let him run like his genes wanted. I'm crossing my fingers that War Pass is alright. If he doesn't run in the Wood, and they retire him, then I was wrong. But let's not bury War Pass and Zito just yet. Let's see if War Pass goes to the Wood, and shows he's still a Champion. For we all have to admit, Horse Racing surely needs one.-rAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
