In the WinStar/Sunland Oaks, Tough Tiz’s Sis and Swiss Current finished one-two, with Purely Surprized coming in for show money. Berriestoheaven was with the leaders at the beginning, but, as I suspected, was done by the mile marker. Nice Inheritance was a non-factor.
Law Breaker was scratched from the WinStar Derby, and the favorite Forty Grams couldn’t hold the lead in the stretch and faded to third, as Song of Navarone won with Solemn Promise closing and finishing second. Jack Hes Top finished fourth. Wow! I was right on about this race. Cool :)
