Thoroughbred Times.com is reporting that Teuflesberg will stand in 2008 for $10,000 at Hurricane Hall near Georgetown, KY. That is half of what I expected—a real bargain, me thinks. We’ll see in a few years if that assessment proves valid. I took a look at Hurricane Hall’s website, and what a nice little collection of stallions they have gathered there! Teuflesberg, Artie Schiller ($15,000), English Channel ($25,000) and Bellamy Road ($10,000) who Alan over at Left at the Gate discussed recently. The best of luck to Teuflesberg as he enters the next stage of life. What a tough little horse!
My blog posting will be light for the next week or so, as the semester is winding down—and the craziness begins with papers and exams, as well as the inevitable excuses and begging for grades. I'll probably have to crack open the Absolut by the weekend :)
