The tenth race at Gulfstream set up much as I suspected with Comedy going for the lead, and Dynacielo perfectly placed midpack and along the rail. Just as she was making a strong outside move as they were exiting the backstretch, Dynacielo apparently clipped someone’s heels and went down hard. Devastating! Hopefully she’ll be fine, but it didn’t look good. It’s accidents like this that make me hate racing sometimes.
UPDATE: I learned today that Dynacielo was euthanized yesterday (April 2). Rest In Peace.
Todd Pletcher’s More Than a Feelin ($12.00) won by a length over Bit of Whimsy who looked very impressive for a first-time starter, and paid $12.20 to place. Ardnavagh ($3.80) finished third followed by Beautiful Lil who I didn’t look seriously at because she was an alternate entry. Crystal Minuet was fifth, just a neck behind Beautiful Lil, and an empty Comedy finished ninth.

thankfully you received misinformation regarding this.
She is racing today at Churchill Downs #11 Post Position 2. Hopefully she will have a safe run!
I am extremely pleased to hear this!! But, at the same time, confused...how could it be reported on Pedigree Online that she was euthanized, and now she's back? Still, very glad someone was wrong! (including me) Thanks for the info!
