Well, unfortunately, students kept coming in to bug me during office hours :( so I only got four races handicapped. I'll try and do the others when I get home in an hours or so:
Race 1
Pitch A Victory has run well at this level this year, and comes off nice third place finish on Arlington’s polytrack last out; leading rider Miguel Mena is icing on the cake. Fancy Nanc has been knocking on the door in her last three races, all on turf at this distance or more. Snuggle Em Up comes in off a sharp maiden victory at Mountaineer in slop; early speed may be enough to get her in the money.
Race 2
Ten-year-old Frazee’s Folly hasn’t been out of the money in 12 races over the past two years; new trainer Louis Ruberio gets Mena to ride. Tricky Image runs for new trainer after win last out at Lone Star and good work over this track. Sun Bull Son has improved in three races since claim; should continue to do so here.
Race 3
Tokyo comes in with turf and cushion track experience; maiden win last out. Calculating Jimmy drops back down out of allowance company after three straight turf races. Wasten Away comes off nine month layoff with a line of nice workout outs at Penn National and at Presque Isle Downs.
Race 4
Claimer extraordinaire Golden Hare has reeled off 8 victories in 9 tries this year, including a victory in the Claiming Crown Express on August 4. Will try to beat him with Johnny Hollywood who ships in from Woodbine, General Tommy whose early speed and lightning workout over this track bodes well, or Bairds Village.
