Another lovely sales catalog arrived recently in the mail, and after pouring over it, I thought I would mention some notable yearlings being offered at Ocala on day 1 (January 16):

Hip No. 23—Lido Lady, by Lido Palace out of Rocky Mountain mare Berchta; she’s a half-sister to G3 Delta Jackpot winner Birdbirdistheword.

Hip No. 26—North Ireland, by North Light out of Irish River mare Blazing Hot; he is a half-brother to Holy Lightning (dam of G2 Super Derby winner Going Ballastic).

Hip No. 134—Bay Filly, by Medallist out of Cure the Blues mare Magic Blue; her dam is a half-sister to graded stakes-placed Pentelicus, and to Gana Facil (dam of champion Unbridled and his full-brother, G1 Wood Memorial winner Cahill Road).
